Summary

Brought to you by Penguin.

Can you stop a murder when it's already happened?

The book everyone has been talking about.

It's every parent's nightmare.

Your happy, funny, innocent son commits a terrible crime: murdering a complete stranger.

You don't know who. You don't know why. You only know your teenage boy is in custody and his future lost.

That night you fall asleep in despair. Until you wake...

...and it is yesterday.

Every morning you wake up a day earlier, another day before the murder. Another chance to stop it.

Somewhere in the past lie the answers, and you don't have a choice but to find them....

Page turner!

Well if I was reading it in paperback, it would be a page turner. Really interesting all the way through with lots of unexpected plot twists. Brilliant story & very well read.

how far back do we go to escape our fate.

An intriguing storyline. can we undo events that have already happened? l found this a really interesting premiss and thoroughly enjoyed unravelling the story as we travelled back in time with our heroine, an ordinary mother and wife, busy getting on with her life until events overtake her and the worst thing that could happen, actually does. Her distress causes her to lose days, weeks and years but will she be able to alter history without doing more harm.

Oh my, this one of those really good ones!

Really clever book. The storyline has a film like quality to it. Believe the hype, it is that good!

Intriguing idea, well done

I listen to many mystery/thrillers and the idea of this drew my interest as something a bit different. Rather than becoming silly after an initial burst of promise I felt this plot just kept going. It also raised thoughts to ponder whilst listening to, and after finishing, the book.

Love is at the centre of this book

I love the journey Jen embarks on. I was heartbroken at the start and felt tense as I thought the book was going to get dark but you just have to persist. Puzzling and a bit slow in the middle but really heart warming in places and thought-provoking. I love that despite everything, she discovers all the good and love within the people around her and above all, she has the greatest & most beautiful love within her!

Great idea and story,

Missing the characters since finishing the book today, really good set up and detail, with lots of clues and Easter eggs throughout, highly recommended

Excellent book, definitely worth a credit

A bit slow to start and was confused over the accents of husband and son. Realised later that the husband was Welsh, the son Liverpool. Story just got better and better as book went on. The last couple of hours were exciting, kept me guessing right up until the end. Probably best audiobook I've listened to this year, and I listen to about 3 a week. Loved it!!

Thoroughly enjoyed!

The pace and structure of the story was thoroughly enjoyable and kept interest throughout.
The narrator’s pace and tone was perfect for the story.
I will look for more written by this author and read by the narrator. Big thumbs up!
